Dr Subir Roy

I am Dr Subir Roy (MB, BS, MBA)- a physician and a global medical-affairs leader.

I graduated from a Government Medical College in Maharashtra, India, and subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Research and a postgraduate certification in Diabetes Management from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. I also hold a full-time MBA with dual specializations in Healthcare and Marketing from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, as well as an advanced certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Duke University.

I practiced medicine for nearly a decade while gradually moving into clinical development and medical affairs, where I have worked closely with global biotechnology companies. I now live in Boston with my wife and our son.

Throughout my education and career, I have remained fascinated by the extraordinary biology that makes us human. That lifelong curiosity led me to create WiseThalamus.

I am a medical doctor and human biology enthusiast. I believe our understanding of the human body advances by questioning assumptions- including my own- and following the evidence wherever it leads. For me, understanding science means asking honest questions and following the evidence where it leads.
